In the production of high-purity terephthalic acid including the step of slurrying, the step of dissolution, the step of reduction, the step of crystallization, the step of separation, the step of washing, and the step of drying, a waste liquid discharged after washing in the step of washing is used as a water solvent in the step of slurrying in such a state that the temperature is 120°C or above and 200°C or below to produce high-purity terephthalic acid.</p> |
