<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time taken for calculating correction factors and a memory capacity for an integrating process of calculating the correction factors in an IR photographing apparatus having a sensitivity correcting function of an IR detector. <P>SOLUTION: A correction data calculator 4 for correcting the sensitivity of a photoelectric converter element of an IR detector 2 stores raw data obtained by digitizing picture signals from the photoelectric converter element in a frame memory 42. A data processor/correcting arithmetic unit 44 compares the sizes of picture signal data in frames different in time every pixel, extracts picture signal data of intermediate values among them, averages the intermediate values over a specified number of frames, calculates correction factors for the picture signal data every pixel based on the intermediate value average, and sends out the picture signals corrected by the correcting arithmetic unit 6 about the sensitivity variation of each pixel, using the correcting factors, to a video monitor 8 via a video encoder 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
