PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To re-constitute multimedia (MM) contents based on a purpose and a utilization environment and to automatically generate the re-constituted contents.

SOLUTION: An automatic commercial (CM) generation apparatus in embodiments comprises a utilization purpose setting section 1, a utilization environment setting section 2, a contents re-constitution section 3, an operation display section 4, and a storage section 5. The utilization purpose setting section 1 accepts and sets utilization purpose information from a user and when the user inputs utilization environment information for viewing CM contents, the utilization environment setting section 2 accepts and sets the inputted information. According to the utilization purpose information set by the utilization purpose setting section 1 and the utilization environment information set by the utilization environment setting section 2, the contents re-constitution section 3 re-constitutes the MM contents and automatically generates the CM contents.
