<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell element with bypass function simply added thereto and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The solar cell element is provided with a first conduction type layer 2 formed on the light receiving surface side of a solar cell element substrate 1, a second electrode 4 for conduction type formed on the rear surface side of the solar cell element substrate 1, and a bypass electrode 5 formed so as to contact with the first conduction type layer 2 and the second electrode 4 for conduction type. The manufacturing method of solar cell element comprises a process for forming the first conduction type layer 2 on the light receiving surface side of the solar cell element substrate 1, a process for forming the second electrode 4 for conduction type on the rear surface side of the solar cell element substrate 1, and a bypass electrode forming process for forming the bypass electrode 5 contacted with the first conduction type layer 2 and the second electrode 4 for conduction type on at least one part of at least one side surface 10 of the solar cell element substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
