PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to evade a situation that a conductor of an electric wire is short-circuited, and to maintain electrical reliability. SOLUTION: A shield connector A is provided with a housing 20 to house a terminal metal fitting 40 connected to a terminal of the electric wire 10, a metallic shield shell 30 installed at the housing 20, a metallic cylindrical connecting member 50 of a form of connecting a terminal part of a shield member 11 and the shield shell 30 and to surround the electric wire 10, and an insulating electric wire cover 80 installed between the cylindrical connecting member 50 and the electric wire 10. Even if the covering of the electric wire 10 should come off and a conductor of the interior should be exposed, a situation that such a conductor is contacted electrically with the cylindrical connecting member 50 can be evaded by the electric wire cover 80.
