PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control unit capable of reducing an operator burden and improving operability by simplifying key operation that becomes complicated in accordance with multifunction. SOLUTION: This remote control unit is provided with input keys 18 to which various operation modes to be executed by a device to be controlled are allocated, a memory key 21 for emitting a storage start command, an enter key 22 for emitting a storage end command, a memory 30a for storing data about the operation of the respective keys and time data, and a control means 30 for starting time counting from the operating point of time of any key when any key among the input keys 18 is operated after the memory key 21 is operated, storing respective key codes in the memory when keys for executing operation modes allocated to the input keys 18 are sequentially operated, finishing the time counting and storing data of the elapsed time in the memory 30a when the enter key 22 is operated, subsequently reading the data from the memory 30a and sequentially transmitting key codes about the operation modes from a transmitting part 28 at time intervals based on the elapsed time data when the input keys 18 are operated following the memory key 21.
