PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording control device capable of preventing a substitution process from being executed without degrading a processing speed in the case where files needing physical continuity are recorded at a recording position on a recording medium. SOLUTION: A table management part 46 sets an FAT by using an unused FC included in a mixing part detected by a detection part 48 as an UC. Then, the table management part 46 changes the FAT so that the UC is located behind a range of logical positions where FC groups with effective information recorded are arranged in a reading order represented by the FAT, in relation to the relevant file.
