PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance device of an elevator capable of preventing abrasion of a wind shielding material in a simple structure, advantageous in the cost, and capable of exhibiting a smoke shielding function. SOLUTION: The wind shielding material 8 is arranged in a space S between peripheral parts 5, 6 and 7 of an entrance 4 and a door 3, and the space S between the door 3 and the door 3. The wind shielding material 8 is fixed on one of the members partitioning the space, and is not brought into contact with the other end side ordinarily. Therefore, abrasion of the wind shielding material 8 can be prevented. The wind shielding material 8 has a pressure deforming characteristic so that the space S can be closed by a pressure of an air current W flowing into the space S when the pressure exceeds a predetermined value. Thereby, the wind shielding material 8 is deformed by the pressure of the air current W inevitably generated by combustion at the time of the fire, and the space S is closed.
