The device for the releasable mounting of components has at least one holding element (1) constructed to be destructible by heat application. The holding element consists of a thread, whereby the holding element is destructible through the melting of the thread or decomposition of the thread material. The destruction may be supported by an oxidation medium. At least one heating device (2) is provided for the application of heat. The thread forms a loop, and at least two heating devices may be arranged in such a way that they act on respective strands of the loop.
