A toilet seat device comprises a seat 10 and a fastening means 20 to attach the seat to a lavatory bowl 1. Preferably, the fastening means of the device includes at least one bar 21 which engages onto the lavatory bowl 1 and at least one rotatable screw threaded fastener 22 engaged with a screw hole (17, Fig 4) located in a protrusion (15, Fig 4) positioned in a recess (14, Fig 4) in the seat 10, in order that the bar and seat may be secured to the lavatory bowl. The toilet device may also include a protuberance (12, Fig 4) to engage with the opening 19 in the lavatory bowl to anchor the seat to the bowl. A further toilet seat device comprises a seat with at least one arm rest device 30 attached thereto. |
