Glass pane support device is used for the treatment of panes (3) destined to form the communication windows of communication equipment such as portable telephones or computer screens. The support device is made up of a horizontal beam destined to hold a pane during its soaking in a treatment bath. The horizontal beam carries a mechanism (2) for suspending the pane and a retaining mechanism (4) preventing the swinging and tilting of the pane.
