The fastening element (10) has a plate-shaped supporting element (22), and a pin (28) extending from supporting element for attaching the fastening element in a position in which the pin extends into a bone. The pin has a longitudinal axis having an angle with a main surface of supporting element such that during use, the supporting element abuts against a sawn-off surface of the bone. The longitudinal axis of the pin extends at an angle relative to the surface. A coupling element (20) is provided on the side of the supporting element remote from the pin for coupling a prosthesis while the outside of the pin is provided with bores (38) for bone cement or other bonding agents. An independent claim is also included for an assembly of bone and fastening element for prosthesis. |
