The invention relates to the commutation devices meant for man and animal protection from electrocution, as well as for protection from disconnection of one of the phases of the electrotechnical installations. The device contains a current transducer 1, a preamplifier 2, a comparator 3, a time delay point 4, a thyristor-switch 5, all being connected in series, as well as a final-control relay P1. Between the thyristor-switch 5 and the final-control relay P1 there are connected an optocouple 6 and a triac VS1 with increased load-carrying capacity.
