A method of purifying sewage, sludge and soils from multi-ring aromatic hydrocarbons by filtering through zeolite-bearing rock or mixing with zeolite-bearing rock. It is characterised in that to the sludge or contaminated soil, 1-10 percent by weight, in proportion to soil or sludge weight, of zeolite-bearing rock is added, and sewage contaminated with multi-ring aromatic hydrocarbons is filtered through zeolite-bearing rock. Zeolite-bearing rock is in the form of rock containing clayey minerals in the form of clinoptilolite and montmorillonite, preferably 90 percent of clinoptilolite and 6 percent of montmorillonite. |
