This compressed air is fed to the drive pistons/rotors in the vehicle engine, which are permanently cooled with liquid gas. In this way, a large temperature difference occurs between the input and output air. Above the drive pistons/rotors the input compressed air expands adiabatically, delivering work and withdrawing heat from the drive pistons and the liquid gas. #CMT# : #/CMT# Liquid gas is pumped into the vehicle from an external gas tanking installation. The vehicle has three different sorts of tanks (1,2,3). One or more are for the storage of liquid gas, several are for the storage of compressed air and at least one is for the storage of compressed air with constant pressure.
