<p>The invention relates to a polymer composition comprising phenol-resorcin-formaldehyde resin used as binder, impregnating agent, formation mass, coating lacquers, adhesives, and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the polymer composition comprising phenol-resorcin-formaldehyde resin consists of a first component obtained by the polycondensation of a mixture containing phenol or phenole derivative and resorcin, with formaldehyde, the resorcin content ranging from 0.5 to 90% by weight, in a phenol or phenole derivative to formaldehyde molar ratio of 1 : 0.5 ... 5.5, in the presence of an acidic or basic catalyst and a second component obtained by the polycondensation of the phenol or phenol derivative, preferably cresol, para-t-butyl-phenol with formaldehyde, in a phenol or phenol derivative to formaldehyde molar ratio of 1: 0.5 ... 5.5, in the presence of an acidic or basic catalyst, the components being mixed in a dry substance weight ratio of 0.5 ... 90 : 10 : 95.5 and are in the form of solution with a dry substance content of 20 ... 80% by weight and a viscosity of 10 ... 500 cP.</p> |
