An industrial fire safety curtain is held on a roller in a cassette attached to the ceiling by bolts. The cassette (4) has a hinged base panel (6) that deploys from the closed presentation to descend to the open lower presentation, from which it is detachable. Release from the closed position is effected by tabs and hooks.
