<p>The damping device for the motor vehicle seat has a transmission element (8,11) to transmit relative movement from a vertical movement (21) of a seat plate to a displacement movement (22) of a slide element connected to a spring element. The slide element (10) is connected to a first end (16a) of at least one vibrational damping element (16) orientated parallel to the spring element, and fastened by a second end on the floor frame (1). The length of travel of the damping element is variable by changing the relative movement by a variable alignment of the slide plane (15) or by a variable transmission ratio of the transmission element.</p> |
