<p>The invention relates to a thermostatic cartridge for the regulation of hot and cold fluids to be mixed, and to a mixer tap comprising one such cartridge. The inventive cartridge comprises two disks (2, 3) which are used to adjust the flow of hot and cold fluids and which each comprise a passage (2A, 3A) for hot fluid, a passage (2B, 3B) for cold fluid and a passage (2C, 3C) for a mixture of both, said disks being movably joined to one another. One of said disks (3) is connected in rotation to a member (4) for controlling the flow of the mixture, while the other (2) is fixed. In order to do without a turbulator in the cartridge, the flow section for the mixture through the disks (2, 3), which is defined by stacking passages for the mixture (2C, 3C) in the joining plane (P) of the disks, varies according to the configuration of the control member. The majority of the thermosensitive part (5A) of a thermostatic regulation element (5) is positioned upstream of the disk joining plane in the direction of flow (FC) of the mixture. The invention is suitable for thermostatic cartridges comprising concentric temperature and flow control elements, particularly of the quarter turn type.</p> |
