The rotating unit has at least one guide unit (12) mounted to rotate around a rotational axis and which is for guiding a movement of a pourable medium. The guide unit is designed to guide the pourable medium closer to the rotational axis (10) during a first upwards orientated part of a rotational movement than during a second downwards orientated part of the rotational movement. The guide unit receives medium from a reservoir (22) during one phase of the rotational movement and delivers it to a reservoir (22') during another phase. An independent claim is included for a plant with at least one rotating unit as specified in the invention.
