A thermal regulator (25) consisting of a bimetal stroke component activates a locking axle (16) to lock or release a closing body (13). The closing body is movable downwards into a valve seat recess (12) together with balls (15), or temporarily held within a valve seat (6). The thermal regulator is comprised of two bimetal panels (26,27) in between which a spacer (28) is arranged.
