The fire-extinguishing flap (1) has a casing (3) and locking mechanism (9) which is a locking lever. The locking mechanism is so integrated in fire extinguishing flap that the projecting length of flap does not exceed the thickness of the resting collar (12) opposite the outer surface of the casing or control door. The thickness of the resting collar is not more than 5 mm.
