The hand brake handle (3) safety device of a passenger car trailer, has its one end fixed at the latch plate (2) of a lock (1), which is used for trailer coupling. The other end is at the top of hand brake handle while in secured position, whereby during functional condition, a rigid connection between two ends comes into effect. The second end has an opening for admitting hand brake handle safely.
