The roof rack (2) has a roof box (10) arranged on a bracket (16) which is installed on the roof of a car, such that ski equipment can be arranged between the roof box and bracket. The bracket is formed with adjacent individual ski binding portions. The bracket has upper and lower clamping bars (18,20) for clamping the ski equipment.
