The cigarette paper for self-rolling of a cigarette by using loose tobacco has a point of adhesion for the fixing of the paper. The point of adhesion or the side opposite it has a marking which may be in the form of a perforation or colour and may bear a firm's emblem. The marking may be identified by at least one partially raised adhesive application, or as a water mark in the paper. The marking may have a fold. The marking may incorporate all or some of the aforesaid features.
