AUTOMATIC, REAL-TIME, SUPERIMPOSED LABELING OF POINTS AND OBJECTS OF INTEREST WITHIN A VIEW

A device operable with an image-viewing apparatus identifies known points/objects of interest in an image and superimposes onto the image being viewed labels to identify the known points/objects. Identification is made based on stored information for each point/object in a world model database and based on device location and orientation parameters that are updated automatically in real time.
