A drive unit (34), for the projectors (14,16,18,20), which when the vehicle projects a cross beam (Fc) into a bend, controls at least one of the route projectors (18,20) so that its beam produces additional light into the bend, or a bend beam (Fv) which increases the global light intensity in the direction of the bend.
