The stabilizing system for drawers comprises cogwheels (8) on either side, connected by a torsion shaft (7). Guide wheels (9) are mounted outside the cogs. These run inside U-profile rails (10) screwed to the carcass (2). The cogs mesh with the upper rims of the rails which are indented to form a rack (11). The shaft is attached to the back (3) of the drawer by slotted mountings (5) which allow the height of the drawer to be adjusted.
