The vibration isolator fits between a gas generator and support and has an elastic middle section (2) and opposed end connectors (3,5) for attachment to the generator and support. The elastic middle section is of rubber or elastic plastics and the end connectors are metal. The assembly can be cylindrical with the middle section having a larger diameter than the ends.
