The invention relates to a self-locking valve for non-latex-type balloons. The inventive valve is produced from a single piece of rectangular plastic film which is folded at the centre and sealed. The aforementioned seal is provided with a special design and shape such as to prevent the release of the air or gas. Moreover, heat-resistant ink or lacquer is provided at the inlet, conduit and outlet for the air or gas, which can partially or completely inhibit the strength of the seal, thereby preventing the closure or obstruction of the air or gas inlet, conduit or passage and outlet when the valve is assembled to the balloon.
