The inventive cleaning device comprises a yarn made of a systhetic material, impermeable, wear resistant and circularly knitted on sides. Said device is embodied in the form of a pocket (1) i.e. a sleeve provided with an opening (2) on one end and a closure (5) on the other end thereof and consists of a single knitted layer for containing at least one finger of a user or a removable unit made of a sponge material.
