A program selection support device (200) displays a program selection list as a list of identifiers of the broadcast programs selected as selected program candidates from all the broadcast programs to be broadcast within a predetermined period. The program selection support device (200) includes: a program selection list creation unit (209) for dividing provider identifiers identifying list providers permitting to provide their program selection lists to the program selection support device into groups according to the attributes of the list providers, correlating each of the provider identifiers with the respective groups divided and recording them in a recording medium, correlating the program selection list of each list provider with the provider identifier of the list provider and recording them in the recording medium; a program selection list management unit (204) for specifying the group registered in the recording medium; and a display control unit (206) for acquiring a program selection list of the list provider identified by the provider identifier belonging to the group specified and displaying a program selection list containing the identifier of the selected program candidate contained in the acquired program selection list.
