[PROBLEMS] To provide a storage solution for fluid separator that exhibits high capability of storing the performance of permselective membranes constituted of a polymer membrane material whose representative example is a cellulose ester and has bacteriostatic activity; a relevant membrane element; and a method of storing the same. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided a fluid separator comprising permselective membranes constituted of a polymer membrane material whose representative example is a cellulose ester, or relevant membrane element, characterized in that in the storage thereof, use is made of a storage solution consisting of an aqueous solution having its pH value adjusted so as to fall within the range of 3.5 to 6.0, the aqueous solution resulting from addition of 100 to 5000 mg/L of sulfite salt and 300 to 15,000 mg/L of benzoate salt to the fluid separator. Further, there is provided a method of storing the same.
