The invention relates to physicochemical processes of fullerenes production by processing gaseous carbon-containing material. The technical result - less power consumption caused by not using graphite electrodes and using instead production wastes as an initial material, simplification of the method and the device design for fullerene production, flue gas cleaning from poisons and avoiding pollution of environment are achieved using the method of fullerenes production which includes carbon-containing material treatment under high electric intensity and according to the invention carbon-containing gas is used as carbon-containing material which is passed between a fluid grounded precipitating electrode formed by water stream, and an electrode consisting from, at least, one needle and connected to a 10-3000 kV power source for creating unipolar ionization and generating atomic hydrocarbon used to reduce hydrocarbon and collect it on the fluid grounded precipitating electrode as fullerenes. According to the invention in the device for fullerenes production which comprises a reaction chamber with electrodes one of them is connected to a high-voltage power source and consists of, at least, one needle, wherein the other electrode if formed by grounded water stream and serves as a precipitating electrode for fullerenes precipitation. |
