The tower head has a rotor (2) which is held at the tower head by means of a bearing (5). A fixing mechanism (14,15,30) temporarily fastens the rotor to the tower head. The bearing can be removed totally or partly without separating the rotor from the tower head and a new bearing can be placed. An opening is present at the tower head which facilitates the removal of the bearing.
