#CMT# #/CMT# An automotive diesel or petrol engine has an exhaust gas turbocharger with a selective reduction catalytic (SCR) converter (5). The exhaust gas turbocharger is a multi-stage (6, 7, 8, 9) charger unit with a high-pressure (6, 7) and low-pressure stage (8, 9) in series.
