The light scanning device has a light emission device (10) for providing stimulation light (11) directed onto the surface of the sample (22) via a focussing lens (34,44), with an optical lens (32,42) and a detector (31,41) for providing electrical signals representing the fluorescent light emitted by the sample. The sample is supported in a sample holder (20,21) which is rotated relative to the stimulation light, for detecting the emitted fluorescence for different areas of the sample surface. |
