A laminated vehicular glazing (10, 30) comprising electrical heating means and at least one busbar (11) of electrically conductive material far connecting the electrical heating means to a power source is disclosed. Glazing (10, 30) is constructed from at least two plies of glazing material (21, 22) and a ply of interlayer material (23) extending therebetween. The electrical heating means may include an array of wires (12) or a conductive coating (31). The electrically conductive material is a polymeric material (preferably a thermoplastic) having electrically conductive particles (preferably silver flakes) dispersed within it. Further disclosed is: a) a method of manufacturing a laminated vehicular glazing (10, 30) including the step of imparting heat to the electrically conductive material as it is applied to a surface of glazing (10, 30) thereby creating an adhesion between the two, and b) an apparatus (70) far manufacturing a laminated vehicular glazing (10, 30) comprising means far dispensing (72) the electrically conductive material onto a surface of glazing (10, 30) and means to pre-heat (73) the surface of glazing (10, 30) prior to the electrically conductive material being dispensed. |
