The method involves weighing a wagon or a different kind of track loading using dynamic track scales by moving the wagon along the track scales for several times to obtain several weight values. The average value of the obtained weight values is considered as a reference weight. The average value is compared with a given limiting value to determine the present reference weight of the wagon.
