FIELD: miscellaneous auxiliary devices operating on sheets, blanks, webs, binding material, containers or packages. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves spreading adhesive between carrier band and tape with pockets in points spaced along carrier band and separated one from another by inadhesive areas preferably formed at carrier band edges. Cutting operations are performed so that the cuts extend through inadhesive areas.
