In a laminated body (2) after being sintered, barrel polishing is effected using cobblestone after inner electrodes (4, 5) are made to have a higher strength than a ceramic layer (3). Thereby, the end edges (18) of the inner electrodes (4, 5) are caused to project from the end surfaces (6, 7) of the laminated body (2) and are deformed to extend along the end surfaces (6, 7). When outer electrodes (8, 9) are formed on the end surfaces (6, 7) of the laminated body (2), a wide bonded area can be obtained between the inner electrodes (4, 5), so that the reliability of electric conduction between them is enhanced.
