Wireless local telecommunication and data communication system for TV distribution, dynamically adapts time frames according to air propagation time for radio waves

The access point (AP) in the wireless local area network (WLAN) generates a signal representing the air propagation time for the radio waves and a device dynamically adapts the time frames depending on the signal, in order to provide communication with an increased range. The AP dynamically selects a free frequency channel in the television distribution frequency band. A WLAN terminal dynamically adapts itself to the selected frequency channel. The AP and terminal use the selected frequency channel for radio-based telecommunication and data communication.
