Double-function switch for reversing and neutral positions in an automobile including a feeler (2) in housing (1), a lever for moving from neutral to reverse, a spring (4) with a controllable plunger (3), on the same axis as the feeler. The system includes an elastic reversible contact in AgCu and a plug base plate (11) giving a closed current circuit so that information from the control lever is transferred to a terminal (sic).
