PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boosting circuit reduced in the variation of an output voltage. SOLUTION: The boosting circuit includes a first boosting unit 3-1 having a first output end that outputs a boosting voltage. The first output end is connected to an external output end Vout. A second boosting unit 3-2 comprises a second output end that outputs a boosting voltage. The second output end is connected to the external output end. A control circuit 2 outputs a first control signal that controls the operation of the first boosting unit and a second control signal that controls the operation of the second boosting unit. The control circuit controls the first and the second control signals so that a shift between the operating state and the stopping state of the first boosting unit and a shift between the operating state and the stopping state of the second boosting unit performed at different timings in accordance with an output voltage of the external output end.
