PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that read-out characteristics of a pixel signal deteriorates at a pixel at the center of a pixel array compared with pixels at both ends, and shading and noise are generated due to the propagation delay of a drive pulse, because the number of pixels increases and the wire length of a control signal line becomes long even when a constitution for driving each pixel from both sides of the pixel array is adopted. SOLUTION: At a pixel array 11, drain wires 21A and 21B, reset lines 22A and 22B, and transfer lines 23A and 23B are wired between pixel drivers 123A and 123B as two lines per drive pulse for every column in order to transmit a selection pulse SEL, a reset pulse RST, and a transfer pulse TRG. The selection pulse SEL, the reset pulse RST, and the transfer pulse TRG are supplied to each pixel at left-hand side and right-hand side from the middle of the pixel array 11 from the both sides (left-hand side/right-hand side, and middle side).
