PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet supplying device capable of supplying sheets from a plurality of sheet accommodation parts to a main device without folding the sheets while occurrence of a failure in transporting the sheets is well suppressed. SOLUTION: The sheet supplying device 1 is equipped with sheet supply units 1A, 1B, 1C installed in line along the horizontal direction and accommodating paper sheets P to be supplied to an image forming device 100 and an intermediate sheet transport path to generate mutual communication of the tops of the sheet supply units 1A, 1B, 1C. It should be arranged at this time so that the length across the width of those sheets accommodated in the unit 1A is the largest, the length across the width of the sheets accommodated in the unit 1B is the second largest, and that the length across the width of the sheets accommodated in the unit 1C is in the third place.
