PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage space dimension confirming device for a frame body for a passenger conveyor easy to use. SOLUTION: The storage space dimension confirming device of the frame body for the man conveyor is equipped with an aligning reference wire 5 stretched tightly between a first and a second struts installed upright at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the frame body 2 for an existing passenger conveyor, a member 6 for center position reference installed on the aligning reference wire 5, a center member 7 installed approximately parallel to the opposite longitudinal direction of the frame body 2 for the existing passenger conveyor in the condition that the both ends are abutted to the frame body for the existing passenger conveyor and the central part is positioned at the reference member 6, a member 10 for the left side position reference dangled at the left side of the center member 7, and a member 11 for the right side position reference dangled at the right side of the center member 7, in which confirmation is made whether the members 10 and 11 dangled from the center member 7 interfere with a cross-member which is cut.
