Disclosed is an improved device for placing a film web (5) on a roll, a reel (8), or another guiding mechanism, especially for placing a polymer melt web on a cooling roll (8). Said device comprises a nozzle mechanism with one or several pressure feeding ducts (21) for delivering compressed air and a nozzle arrangement (2) which is connected to the pressure feeding ducts (21) and is provided with at least one air discharge port (23). The air flow generated by the nozzle arrangement (2) is discharged at least in part from the intermediate area (Z) via an air duct (207, 207') which is formed between the nozzle arrangement (2) and the roll, the reel (8), or the other guiding mechanism. Additionally or alternatively, the air flow generated by the nozzle arrangement (2) is evacuated at least in part from the intermediate area (Z) via an air duct (207, 207') that is formed between the nozzle arrangement (2) and a slot die (4) and/or a baffle plate (3') which extends into the intermediate area (Z). |
