<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling tower maintaining control system for preventing the scales and slime deposited on a heat exchanger in a cooling water system for circulating water between a cooling tower having the heat exchanger and a large-scale air conditioning and industrially cooling installation and rusting on piping paths in the water system without using chemicals. <P>SOLUTION: The control system comprises a means for preventing slime deposition and rusting with its operation to supply cooling water circulating in the cooling installation and the cooling tower into an ionizing electrolytic cell and automatically sustain its pH value. Herein, the scales are removed by using an electrode and the slime and alga fungus are suppressed by electric sterilization, eliminating the need for concentration preventing forcible blow or chemicals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
