PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard information registration / disclosure system and an on-vehicle apparatus capable of avoiding in advance telephone number information registered from a mobile phone to an onboard hands-free unit from being illegitimately leaked to a third party so as to properly ensure the security. SOLUTION: When the mobile phone 3 requests the onboard hands-free unit 2 to register telephone number information, the onboard hands-free unit 2 stores a link key and the telephone number information received from the mobile phone 3 in cross-reference with each other, and when the mobile phone 3 makes a browsing request of the telephone number information, the onboard hands-free unit 2 generates the link key on the basis of a mobile phone ID and an onboard hands-free unit ID received from the mobile phone 3, permits the mobile phone 3 to browse the telephone number information stored in association with the generated link key but inhibits the mobile phone 3 to browse the telephone number information not associated with the link key. A user using the mobile phone 3 can browse only the telephone number information registered by the user itself, and the system can prevent the telephone number information registered by users from being illegitimately browsed by a third party in advance.
